The
fountain was commissioned by the Municipality of Bognanco
for the furniture of the main square.
The base represented the wind-rose and was realised with
three types of different materials: white granite of Montorfano,
pink granite of Baveno and green granite of Mergozzo,
using exclusively local granites.
The diameter of the fountain was 2,50 m. and it was higher
than two meters.
